Project's activities and results with French companies presented in POLLUTEC fair

IMG 4086CCI France presented at the POLLUTEC fair 2016 in Lyon the results of the STEEEP actions in France. During the breakfast-event « Retour d’expérience du projet européen STEEEP sur l’efficacité énergétique en PME », Jan-Erik Starlander responsible for the energy and ecological transition dossier in CCI France and STEEEP National Coordinator for France introduced the audience on best practices and the work of 13 local and regional Chambers of Commerce in the implementation of the support programme with 150 participating Small and Medium Enterprises. Examples of actions implemented by a company were also presented, together with a first assessment of results. On a sample of 92 businesses, 20 % of the energy efficiency actions were realised the majority of which included mid-cost interventions on the compressed air and lighting system as well as a global approach on energy management. The total estimated investment amounts to 4,385,078 € and the potential energy savings amounts to 6,686,622 kWh / year
